In an effort to continue with our Fleur series, with our Fleur Pour Ma Mere, we’re introducing FLEUR BLANC, or white flower! Hailing from Preston Farm, deep in Dry Creek Valley, this white wine year after year is meant to be your ultimate food companion. It has weight, it has structure, it has depth, it has body. Tasting Notes
Rich ripe yellow fruits, hay, grass. Holds its weight well.
Details
The grapes were picked end of August 2024. The vineyard has the perfect way of ripening sugar, without spiking pH.
At the winery, the grapes are foot crushed, as Viognier tends to not yield well out of the press. It goes through a gentle white wine cycle, then settles in stainless steel tank. At first sight of fermentation, it goes down to neutral oak barrels for primary and secondary fermentation.
It’s racked just once before bottling, and bottled unfined, unfiltered. The wine was bottled in March 2025 and aged one year in bottle before release.
